Full fit or dry fit
Kitchen fitting in Manchester
We fit kitchens across Manchester and Greater Manchester, from a full installation to a dry fit of units and worktops. IKEA and other makes are fine, and so are units you have bought yourself.
The old kitchen comes out, the room is prepared, the new one goes in and the room is left ready to use. Plumbing and electrical connections are coordinated, so you are not chasing separate trades. If you have already bought your kitchen, from IKEA or anywhere else, we can fit it: you do not have to buy it from us. For bigger kitchens we visit to measure first, at no charge.
Send photos of the room, your plan or measurements and your postcode. Say if you have already bought the units.

How a kitchen job runs

We measure up and check the plans against the room: pipework, sockets, walls and floor. For bigger jobs we visit before we quote.
Prepare
Old kitchen out, walls and floors made good, and services marked out before any unit goes in.
Fit
Units are levelled first, then doors, worktops, sink and appliances.
Finish
Connections tested, trims and plinths fitted, doors and drawers adjusted, and the room cleared.

Questions we are often asked
How much does it cost to fit a kitchen?
Fitting is priced on the size of the kitchen, the number of units, the worktops and how much preparation or plumbing is involved. Send photos, the plan and measurements on WhatsApp and we will price the fitting. Units and appliances are bought separately. What moves a labour-only price is explained in our guide, dry fit or full fit kitchen.
What is a dry-fit kitchen, and how is it different from a full fit?
A dry fit covers the units, doors and worktops only. A full fit also includes removing the old kitchen, preparation, and the plumbing and electrical connections. Dry fit suits you if you already have your own plumber, electrician and tiler.
Do you fit IKEA kitchens?
Yes, and kitchens from other makers. If you have already bought the units we fit them. If you are still planning, we can check the design against your room before you order. How our fitting differs from IKEA's own installation service is explained on our IKEA kitchen fitting page.
How long does a kitchen take to fit?
It depends on the size, how much preparation is needed and whether other trades are involved. We give you a timescale with the price, and tell you if anything changes.
Do you handle plumbing and electrics?
We coordinate them as part of a full fit. Gas work must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and new electrical circuits are notifiable work that a registered electrician normally certifies. With a dry fit, those are your responsibility.
Which worktops can you fit?
Tell us the material when you ask for a price and we will confirm. Stone and quartz worktops are normally templated, made and installed by the supplier, and we fit the units ready for them.
Do you remove the old kitchen?
Yes, as part of a full fit. Tell us if you want to keep any units or appliances.
Can I buy the units myself?
Yes, many customers do. Send us the list and we will check it covers everything the fitting needs, such as plinths, cornice and filler panels.
How soon can you start?
It depends on our diary. Message us with the date you need and we will tell you what is possible.
Send us the job, get a price
Message photos, rough measurements and your postcode. We aim to reply with a price the same day.
