What we take on
Skirting boards and dado rails
Measured, mitred and fitted with tight corners, ready for painting. Dado and panel rails fitted level along the wall.
Internal doors
Doors hung, trimmed to fit and finished with handles and latches, including doors that catch on new flooring.
Laminate flooring
Underlay and laminate laid across rooms and hallways, cut around radiators and thresholds, finished with skirting or beading.
Partition walls
Timber stud partitions, boarded and finished, for splitting a room or a unit.
Windows and outside
Window repairs, fence work, and the assembly of garden sheds and gazebos.
Small repairs
The small things that stop a house working properly. It is hard to find someone for those, and we are happy to take them on.
Questions we are often asked
How much does skirting board fitting cost?
It depends on the length, the height of the boards and whether old boards need removing. Send a photo and the rough room size on WhatsApp and we will price it.
Can you lay laminate over my existing floor?
Often, if the existing floor is level, dry and sound. Uneven or damp floors need preparation first. Send a photo and we will tell you what is needed.
Do you fit internal doors?
Yes: hanging, trimming to fit, and fitting handles and latches.
Do you build partition walls?
Yes, timber stud partitions, boarded and finished. Tell us what you need to divide and send a photo of the space.
Do you do small jobs on their own?
Yes. A single small job is fine.
Do you do bigger projects as well?
Yes. See wardrobes, kitchens and renovation.
Can I book several jobs in one visit?
Yes. Send the whole list in one message, with a photo of each room or item, and we will say how we would group and order the work. Landlords: tell us how many rooms or properties you have and when the next tenant moves in. Between tenancies we do the repairs and decorating in one visit where possible.
